Cake development

The clay cakes I made were too heavy for the table heather and Amy made so I had to try and made them again out of polystyrene to make them lighter.








More wax exploration.

I decided to explore wax and water more because I really liked the effect it gave and I wanted to use them for the final piece but they were too heavy

Fabric cake development

I made a cake out of white fabric and sewed the sides together and filled it with wadding. I then dyed it blue and covered it with glue and ink to create an icing effect.





Skins project

I decided to make a skirt for my project out of chiffon. I then began to add glue and gold foil to represent 'scarification'. This is how it started.
